• Locations:  Visit any of the 6 adoption locations to start the search.  Hours vary with each location, so please look online prior to visiting.

Please Note: All animals are located at the Main Shelter unless the site listed states: Adoption Center West or Mounds - Fitchburg, Middleton, Madison, or Sun Prairie

• Animal Search:  Before you visit, learn about the animals available for adoption using this search.

  • Canine-ality:  Check here first to find the right dog for you!

• Animals in the Community:  DCHS offers a rehoming service as an alternative to people that are no longer able to care for their pets.  Use this search to see if there is an animal in the community for you.
