DCHS Kids

It takes a village to raise a child, and at Dane County Humane Society, there are many educational programs that teach children to have respect for animals. Studies show that children who learn empathy towards animals at an early age become more caring citizens.  DCHS's community has so many children who show what it means to be kind to animals.  Each year, thousands of Dane County's kids participate in DCHS programs, visit day camps, volunteer, and donate goods and funds to help care for homeless animals.
