Classroom animals are those that live in DCHS's classroom.  They help our Shelter Educator teach children and adults about caring for animals of all shapes and sizes.  Meet our residents!

Easton the Guinea Pig

Easton is a male adult guinea pig who was surrendered by his previous owner. Easton loves to ride in the car to visit classrooms and groups. He eats hay and naps while cruising down the highway. Easton also likes large groups of people who sit quietly in a circle. Sometimes he hops into someone’s lap.

Ranger Jake the Snake 

Ranger Jake is a male adult corn snake who was surrendered because his previous owners were unable to care for him.

Gracie and Ginny are our classroom rats. Gracie is shy and Ginny is very nice.
