Taki & Leelee

taki_and_leeleeI adopted Taki and Leelee on this past Thursday and I wanted to drop you a note to let you know how they're settling in. The first night they found a couple hidey-holes in my bedroom and stayed mostly out of the way. Occasionally, they would come out to be petted, but they'd scatter if I got up and started moving around. By Friday they were following me from room to room and wouldn't want to be left alone.

Buddy

King_1Hello, I adopted King A15057256, now known as Buddy on 01/21/2012. He is a great kitty. When I saw him on your adoption segment last wednesday the 18th on Channel 15 news I just knew he was the right cat for me. I couldn't be more pleased. He follows me around and even comes when I call him,  He behaves well and I hope to have many years with him.  Thank you so much.

Arya

AryaWe adopted Arya (formerly named Miley) our Blue Heeler Mix from the DCHS back in December. Not a day goes by that we don't wonder how we were lucky enough to get her. She's a terrific dog - very energetic, curious, silly and mischievous. Her vet says she's in perfect health and we're excited to take her to her first training class next week. She loves playing catch, chasing after her squeaky guys, digging in the snow and snuggling. She's even started warming up to other dogs and has become buddies with a neighbor's dog.

Frankie

FrankieI adopted a little malte-poo January 6th. His name was Gimli but his new name is Frankie. He is doing well and he doesn't have food issues anymore. I thought you might like to see a picture of him now.  Thank you for everything.

Toby

TOBYToby has gained a lot of weight and he looks very good! He and “Biggie” (one of his 3 pit bull terrier brothers) play now – it is great!  My husband took the snow blower and made a “race track” for the dogs and they LOVE it! All four of them run laps together. We are so happy to have Toby in our lives – he is a wonderful dog!
