SNAP: SPAY/NEUTER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

DCHS offers low cost spay and neuter assistance programs for both individuals and rescue groups. If you are in need of assistance for either companion or feral animals, please let us help!

2011 Calendar Contest Results

Thank you to everyone that participated in Dane County Humane Society's 2011 "Make Your Pet a Pin-up" calendar contest.  We are so impressed by how supportive our community is.  For the results, read more here!

Help Us Build a New Treatment Facility

We are challenging pet lovers to open their hearts and pocketbooks to help support the building of a new facility for treating cats with ringworm.  For every dollar DCHS raises for this project, Maddie’s Fund will match, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000.  Read more here.

Motorcycle Ride for Pets Huge Success!

Over 100 riders participated and nearly $6,000 were raised to help the animals at DCHS.  Congrats to Cat for purchasing the winning raffle ticket that won the custom designed bike donated by the Engelhart Center.  Extra special thanks to our wonderful sponsors - The Engelhart Center, Audio Contractors, Quaker Steak & Lube, MSB Racing, The Employer Group and Country Inn & Suites!

Maddie's Fund Projects in Dane County

Feline Friends Fund

The Feline Friends Fund provides lifesaving donations directly to the homeless cats at Dane County Humane Society.  Contributions support cat adoption programs, spay and neuter surgeries to help reduce chronic overpopulation, as well as outreach and educational efforts to make our community a safer, kinder place for cats.
