Adult WorkshopsLunch 'n LearnAllow DCHS to come and visit your business or organization through our unique Lunch 'n Learn program! Our Lunch 'n Learn business presentation encourages respect and responsibility amongst employees, both in and out of the workplace. It can also create positive communication and strengthen employee interactions. Plus, a nice break talking about animals never hurts morale! Some organizations have even offered this as a presentation for the whole family to attend. Our hands-on activities and approach will not only benefit your employees within their professional life but also within their personal life. Our unique presentation will encourage respect, responsibility, compassion and empathy towards all living things. Our speaker will also discuss how to adopt and care for an animal, generate interest in volunteering and introduce you to the role DCHS plays in the community. We will even introduce you to a current member of our cause - one of our lovable adoptable animals. We also have an activity that encourages communication and patience in the workplace. Programs typically last one hour, but can be modified to meet your needs. An accompanying PowerPoint presentation is included, plus handouts for attendees. Please allow Dane County Humane Society to offer our services and speak at your organization. Contact us today to set up your one-of-a-kind program. For more information, contact the DCHS Public Relations Coordinator at gviney@giveshelter.org or (608) 838-0413 ext. 129.
