Camp Pawprint

Camp Pawprint

Camp Pawprint 2008 will be one big animal adventure! Each week, 40 campers will enjoy animal trivia challenges such as our famous Animal Jeopardy, animal crafts like birdfeeders or paper mache pets, and have “wild-like animal” survival games!

Activities include making tasty treats for our companion animals, learning about bite prevention, and daily presentations from local animal experts. Each camp day also includes an interactive humane education lesson provided by DCHS Humane Educator. All campers spend time interacting with our camp animals, learn about their care, and get hands-on experience providing their daily care and socialization. Animals used in the camp program vary daily and are approved by our behavior department.

While many of you may have wonderful pets at home and may be knowledgeable handlers, we ask for the safety of all campers and animals, that you please leave your own pets at home!
