Dan joined the DCHS Board of Directors in 2023. He graduated from Washington University, St. Louis with a double major in Anthropology and English and then received his JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Dan is currently SVP and General Counsel for Springs Window Fashions.

A lifelong animal lover, Dan is excited for the opportunity to support DCHS’s mission, and, in particular, help people find the unconditional love of an animal. He is also looking forward to working with DCHS on legislative matters impacting animals and animal welfare.

Dan and his wife, Lisa, currently share their lives with 5 dogs and 4 cats, and every day Dan’s goal is to be the person his dogs think he is (and the faithful servant his cats require). When not hanging out with the dogs and waiting on the cats, Dan enjoys cooking and attempting to play guitar.
