Emilee began her journey with Dane County Humane Society in 2025 as one of our Humane Educators with a focus on Camp Pawprint. She graduated from Michigan State University, where she acquired a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Studies and Sustainability with a concentration in Wildlife Conservation. Emilee also has 3+ years of experience in education, working with a variety of age groups and disabilities. In the position of Humane Educator, she hopes to continue fostering a love for learning and help to make our community a better place for people and animals alike.

Emilee and her partner Lauren recently moved from Michigan to the Wisconsin area, where they are enjoying getting to explore both outdoor recreation and Madison's city life. They are also hoping to add a furry friend to their family soon.

Through the Humane Educator – Camp Pawprint Focus position, Emilee coordinates a number of different camps throughout the year, including Summer Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, Day Camps, and even Adult Camps. Emilee also helps support her Humane Educator partner, Faith, with any additional educational or outreach events.
