Always an animal lover, but not always in the field of animal welfare, Erin found her way into this important work after helping a stray cat in Boulder, CO. Before this, she worked in environmental remediation and redevelopment. Her journey in animal welfare began at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, where she spent five years taking on a variety of roles—everything from cleaning kennels to supervising shelter operations, managing the volunteer program, and fundraising.

After moving back to Wisconsin in 2024, Erin joined DCHS to oversee major fundraising events and is excited to bring her diverse skills to this role. Outside of work, she loves spending time on outdoor adventures, in the garden, creating art, and experimenting in the kitchen—all in the good company of her husband, Brendan, their dogs, Pepper and Po(tato), and their cats, Louie and Peregrin (Pip).

Erin manages our major events, including sponsorships, committees, and all event details. She also coordinates our corporate partnerships by building relationships with local businesses.
