Most DCHS and Wildlife Center services are by appointment only, including reuniting lost animals, surrendering a pet, wildlife rehabilitation, and more. Adoption visits are first-come, first-served. We recommend checking our current waitlist prior to your visit.

Cat, Critter, and Carestaff Assistant Volunteer Coordinator

Kameya DeHaan

Starting with DCHS in 2022, Kameya is the Volunteer Training Coordinator for Cats, Critters, and Carestaff Assistants. Originally from San Francisco, Kameya moved to Wisconsin to earn her Anthropology/English degree. 

Kameya has been a lifelong animal lover, and has cared for dogs, turtles, birds, mice, and more. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, doing arts and crafts, and watching reality TV with her two cats (one of which is a DCHS alumni).

Kameya is the main contact for Cat, Critter, and Carestaff Assistant Volunteers.
