Most DCHS and Wildlife Center services are by appointment only, including reuniting lost animals, surrendering a pet, wildlife rehabilitation, and more. Adoption visits are first-come, first-served. We recommend checking our current waitlist prior to your visit.

Kelsie Matt

Kelsie has always had a special love for animals, and she joined DCHS in 2018 working alongside Animal Medical Services (AMS). In 2021, Kelsie joined the Development team and is eager to continue her roles in both positions. Kelsie grew up with many animals including dogs, cats, and bearded dragons. She currently shares her home with a cat named Sadie and a dog named Gordie, a DCHS alum.
Kelsie can answer any of your questions about general donations to the shelter and ways to commemorate a special person or pet.
