As a child, Lisa dreamed of one day working with animals. After spending more than 12 years in journalism, Lisa is excited to meld her passion for storytelling with her love for animals. She first joined DCHS in late September 2021 as the Public Relations Coordinator, and in early 2024, she was elevated to Development and Communications Supervisor. Lisa lives in Madison with her husband, Kasey, and their three cats, Luna, Paris and Salem. 

Lisa serves as our main media contact for the shelter, wildlife center, and thrift stores, as well as coordinator for our social media and website.
