Sara Hoven has been a member of the DCHS team for more than 20 years, serving in various roles before her current position as Accountant & Building Director. She has a passion for animals of all sizes, both companion and wildlife.

As Accountant & Building Director, Sara leads our accounting team to keep our finances and payroll in order. She ensures that the building and shelter equipment are in top shape, coordinating staff and volunteers to keep the shelter looking great. Sara is also our HR liaison.
