3rd Annual Blood Drive

 5132 Voges Road, Madison, WI

Friday Sep 21st, 2018

9:30 am - 2:30 pm

The American Red Cross and Dane County Humane Society are happy to announce its 3rd Annual (human) Blood Drive which will be held at DCHS in the training room on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

The drive is online and ready for you to schedule your donation. CLICK HERE to schedule an appointment. You just need to click on the arrow and pick your time. If you are eligible to donate a double red (Power Red), please click on the Power Red button by the time. This will be those who have O-, O+, A-,B+ or B- blood types. Donation time is a little longer but white cells are returned to you so recovery is much quicker.

If you would like help signing up, contact Diane Sullivan, DCHS Blood Drive Coordinator at diane.sullivan@dpi.wi.gov. She will be happy to help!

Now, more than ever, the Red Cross is in critical need of blood. Every two seconds someone in the United States is in need of a unit of blood. Every two seconds!! Yet, only 3% of those eligible will donate blood. Will you be one of those 3%?

Of course, there will be good food and good company after you’re done donating.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday September 21 between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. More information will be forthcoming.
