DCHS Blood Drive

 5132 Voges Road, Madison, WI

Fri. Feb 5th, 2021

9:30 am - 2:30 pm

COVID-19 has led to many changes in everything from staying home when possible to social distancing and wearing masks. One thing that hasn't changed is the constant need for blood donations. Covid 19 has resulted in many people being unable to donate and numerous drives being cancelled. That makes this drive more important than ever!

The Red Cross has taken precautions and so will we to make sure everyone is safe while donating blood. You will need to wear a mask to the appointment due to Covid. Plus, they will test your blood for antibodies to Covid 19 and let you know if you have the antibody. What a bonus! If you had Covid 19 and are fully recovered, there is an emergency need for plasma from you. Please contact the Red Cross directly at: 1-800-733-2767 if you are able to donate.

If you are in good health, please help us meet our goal of 52 pints of blood! Sign up for a time slot by clicking here. If you need help signing up, feel free to contact Diane Sullivan, our blood drive coordinator, at: bellagator.sullivan@gmail.com or (608) 221-2364.

Blood donor heroes are needed more than ever. So, sign up today! If you have O+ or O- blood type, please consider a PowerRed (double red) donation. Your blood can save even more lives. Thank you!
