DCHS Blood Drive
As you know, there have been many tragic events throughout the country this past year causing many blood drives to be cancelled. This created a dangerous shortage of available blood for people in need. This means your blood donation is more important than ever! If you have O- blood, your blood is even more needed at this time, but all blood types are encouraged to donate.
Dane County Humane Society’s blood drive is Friday, February 28th, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Training Room at the Main Shelter. Schedule your appointment by clicking on the button below. Walk-ins are welcome!
As a thank you from the Red Cross, all presenting donors will receive an electronic gift card. As always there will also be good food. At this drive, we'll be serving egg casseroles as well as chicken salad sandwiches, cheese and crackers, and cookies. There will be vegan and gluten free options too.
