Monroe Street Dog Costume Parade
Come show off your dog's Halloween finery in our fifth annual Dog Costume Parade, held in conjunction with Trick or Treat on Monroe Street. The costumed dogs (and their owners) will gather at Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream at 1:00 PM for a special frozen dog treat. The parade through Wingra Park will start shortly after, with all the pups showing off their costumes. The procession will end at Knickerbocker Place, where each ticketed participant will receive a doggie bag of goodies courtesy of MadCat.
Plus, Kinga of Radiant Smiles will be doing free dog-themed face or arm painting for adults & kids starting at 12:30 at Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream!
Please purchase one ticket per dog. Those accompanying a dog do not need a ticket - or to come in costume, although that adds to the fun. Every dog is required to pre-register, and there is a limit of 40 tickets. All proceeds from the ticket fee will go to Dane County Humane Society. Click here to register!
Spectators and photographers are welcome in the park!
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these rules: all dogs must be held or kept on a leash, and owners are fully liable for any injury or damage caused by their pet. Please plan to dispose of waste properly.
