Most DCHS and Wildlife Center services are by appointment only, including reuniting lost animals, surrendering a pet, wildlife rehabilitation, and more. Adoption visits are first-come, first-served. We recommend checking our current waitlist prior to your visit.

Join the DCHS team on Kilter and help us log as many activities as possible in an effort to win a $30,000 grand prize!

You can earn points for DCHS in many different ways, whether it's running, walking your pet, hiking, biking, rolling, etc. The charity team with the highest total mileage count at the end of the event will be awarded a $30,000 donation! In addition, the 2nd-25th teams are eligible for smaller donation prizes!

To earn points in this event, all you need is to connect a supported fitness tracking app or device. Once connected, the tracker will share your workout data with Kilter, and you'll be awarded with points for your activity.
