Native Plant Sale

Fri. Feb 23rd, 2024 to Tue. Mar 19th, 2024

When you donate to purchase plants to support DCHS's Wildlife Center, you create a ripple effect that can help patients in our Wildlife Center!

Donating is easy! Just click on the button below, select "Dane County Humane Society" from the project list and the number of plants you wish to donate. Plant donations must be made in sets of 4 ($11.50), 8 plants ($23), 12 plants ($34.50), etc. The cost of plants will be added to your order total. Plant donation recipients will select the plants from species list that best suit the needs of their specific project.

How will this help DCHS's Wildlife Center? Native plants are beautiful, attract beneficial pollinators, and also create natural food sources for our wild neighbors. Staff can add plants to existing pollinator gardens to fill in any holes and help keep invasive species at bay. In addition, some plants will be placed around outdoor enclosures to create a screen that wildlife would find in their native habitats.
