The Rescue Effect - Waived Adoption Fees!

Thanks to a generous grant from the ASPCA's The Rescue Effect, we’re offering fee-waived adoption events throughout October!
Right now, our shelter is full — with adoptable animals, stray animals needing a safe place, and dogs and cats we've transferred in from other overcrowded shelters. The need is urgent, and, by working together, we can create space for the next dog in need.
When you adopt, you’re not just changing one animal’s life — you’re opening up a kennel so we can continue to save lives here in our community and beyond.
The Rescue Effect Promo Schedule:
- ALL Members of the Lonely Hearts Club: Adoption fees WAIVED throughout the month of October! See all eligible animals here.
- Special pop-up promos: To be announced throughout the month on this page!
- Saturday, Oct. 4: Adoption fees waived for dogs 6 months and older; fees reduced to just $200 for puppies under 6 months.
- Saturday, Oct. 18 & Saturday, Oct. 25: Adoption fees waived for cats 6 months and older; fees are 50% off for kittens under 6 months.
NOTE: During pop-up promos, please expect longer wait times. Vouchers will be provided to people who were waiting but were not served. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
