Welcome to our Maddie's Shelter Medicine Interns for 2016-2017.
This position is a collaboration between Maddie's Fund, the University of Wisconsin-Madison Shelter Medicine Program and Dane County Humane Society.
Dr. Roberts, DVM - Shelter Medicine Intern
Randi grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She obtained a BS in Animal Science at the Univerity of Manitoba and her DVM at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. Her interest include shelter medicine and trap-neuter-return. Randi started and continues to help run a low cost spay and neuter program for cats of low income owners in Winnipeg. She will be moving to Madison with 2 cats: "Harold" and her three-legged kitty "Connor."
Dr. Schuh, DVM - Shelter Medicine Intern
Meghan was born and raised in Ripon, WI. She received her BS in Animal Science in 2012 from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and completed her DVM at the same university in 2016. She is interested in pursuing a career in shelter medicine as a veterinarian. Her interests include any outdoor activities she can do with her dog, including hiking, camping and backpacking, as well as rescue work and cheering on the Badgers and Packers. She has an adorable pitbull-mix named Moo and 3 cats.
