Help us earn money by volunteering at the spring Run Mad Town or the fall Madison Marathon
Volunteer help is needed in May for Run Mad Town, and November for Madison Marathon. With your help, Dane County Humane Society will receive $8.00 for each hour you volunteer at either Run Mad Town or Madison Marathon, which take place on Madison’s Capitol Square. Each year these events depend on volunteers from supporting organizations like Dane County Humane Society.
We are currently recruiting for Run Mad Town, and volunteers are needed for a range of tasks between Friday May 26 thru Sunday May 28. Anyone can do this, and it’s a fun way to help Dane County Humane Society raise money. You do not need to be a DCHS volunteer. You can even have family members, friends, co-workers join you! All volunteers must be at least 14, or 10 with the supervision of a parent or guardian. Each position has its own minimum age. Every family member or group member must sign up separately.
Sign up is easy, and it’s ‘first come first serve’, so don’t delay. There are quite a few charities that will compete for the open shifts, so they will fill quickly.
If you have questions, please email me and I will lend assistance. Thank you for your support of Dane County Humane Society.
