Most DCHS and Wildlife Center services are by appointment only, including reuniting lost animals, surrendering a pet, wildlife rehabilitation, and more. Adoption visits are first-come, first-served. We recommend checking our current waitlist prior to your visit.

***** Cauliflower has been us longer than we would like and has some special needs so she is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and her adoption fee has been covered by a generous donor. *****

Name: Cauliflower

Age: Adult

Weight (approx.): 9 lbs

Personality: Hi there! My name is Cauliflower, but my foster mom calls me Cauli for short! I'm a shy but sweet lady who's looking for a new family! I came into the shelter with a HUGE cat family and we were all pretty scared, myself included. Because I was so scared in the shelter, I went to live with my foster mom at her house and I love it there! I'm currently living with her and my 2 foster cat siblings while I'm waiting for my new home. Because I'm used to living with so many cats, it would make me the most comfortable to go home with a friend from my old house, or to a home where a new cat friend is waiting for me! If you are interested in meeting Cauliflower, please speak with someone in the Adoption Center and schedule a time to meet!

Medical History: I am currently on Gabapentin to manage my stress, other than that I appear to be a healthy adult cat. It's always a good idea to schedule a follow up visit with my new vet shortly after adoption.
