Hi, I'm Beluga! I'm a friendly guy, though I can be a little shy at first. When I'm feeling nervous, I might pause for a moment and take my time sniffing around before I'm ready to move forward-that's just my way of getting comfortable! Once I warm up, I'm sweet and curious, but I still prefer slow introductions and a little patience when it comes to handling.

With other dogs, I may keep my distance at first, but once I feel safe, I'll approach with a wagging tail and say hello. I'd do best in a home without small kids, as I'm still learning to feel at ease with some kinds of body handling.

I'm looking for a loving family that can give me time to settle in and build my confidence. With a little patience, I'll be your loyal companion in no time!

Medical: Beluga has a couple of medical conditions that are currently being managed with medications. Staff will be able to review all of those with you but it will be important for adopters to make sure Beluga meets his new vet soon after adoption to keep him on a healthy path.
