Hi there, future family! My name's Frankie, and I'm just trying to find my new home. I may come off a little shy at first, but that's just because I've been through a lot, and I just need some time to feel safe. I'm looking for someone who's patient-someone who can understand that I just need to know I can trust you before I let my guard down. I've lived with other dogs before, but I think I'd do best as the only one in the house. I don't want to have to fight for attention of course! I just want a place where I can be myself and feel secure. It might take me a little time to settle in, but once I do, I'll be your loyal companion. If you're an adult who's willing to give me that space and time, I'll make it worth your while. Let's take it slow and see what kind of bond we can build together. Medical: Frankie appears to be a healthy adult dog at this time, but it's always a good idea to get him into a vet soon after adoption so he can meet his new doctor!
