Meet Toast! Toast is a big, lovable male guinea pig with a bold personality and plenty to say! He may not enjoy being picked up, but he happily accepts gentle pets and especially loves getting treats. Toast is very vocal and will let you know when he's excited, hungry, or just wants attention! His expressive nature and larger-than-life presence make him a fun and entertaining companion. He will need to go home with his friend Pippin, as they are happiest together. Come into the Adoption Center to get to know Toast!

Weight: ~ 2.7 lbs

Medical: Toast has pododermatitis which is inflammation of the paw pads, usually caused by inappropriate husbandry such as flooring that is wired or abrasive or from poor sanitation of the cage floor. This inflammation can cause lesions to form on the foot pads. Treatment involves pain medication/antibiotics, these lesions may take 2-6 months to heal and should be monitored. Toast is currently on pain medications and antibiotics and is healing well.
