Almost all DCHS and Wildlife Center services are by appointment only. If you found a lost animal, need to surrender a pet, found wildlife in need of help, or require another service, please call before coming to the shelter.

Cat | Male | Age: 3 | Domestic Medium Hair | Spayed/Neutered

Loves spending time purring in your lap while allowing you to pet him. Will release occasional bouts of energy requiring him to dart about the house in a blur of fur and claws. Tolerant of small children and likes large dogs.

Other Animals
Gets along great with our other black male cat and nearly 100 pound husky, but refuses to play nice with our older more aloof female tabby. It is for this reason that he is searching for a new home.

Medical History
He has had his distemper and rabies vaccines about two years ago and is neutered. He enjoys shredding and climbing the cat tree with all of his claws.

Ideal Home
One that had no other cats, or cats that aren't as crotchety as our tabby.

Physical Description
Small to medium sized for an adult cat with thick and unbelievably soft fur. Coppery to gold eyes. His build is quite thin and he eats mainly hard food with the occasional bowl of chicken broth.
