Most DCHS and Wildlife Center services are by appointment only. If you found a lost animal, need to surrender a pet, found wildlife in need of help, or require another service, please call before coming to the shelter. Adoption visits are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cat | Male | Age: 3 | domestic short-hair | Spayed/Neutered | Up-to-date on vaccinations

He is a sweet cat--as a single cat or with another rambunctious male. He is not a snuggler, but he is a handsome man and likes to drape himself over banisters, cat trees, and sofa arms. He likes to hang close to his human. He tends to sleep overnight on his favorite chair and then come onto the bed for the second half of the night.

Other Animals
Enzo has lived with another cat for his entire life, and they get along most of the time. Enzo, though, gets the "zoomies" at least once a day, and plays too agressively with the other cat, who is a small female. With a male cat who was being fostered here, he was just fine.

Medical History
Enzo is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines.

Ideal Home
He would be best as an only cat or with another male. He would probably be better with a single person or a couple rather than kids, but that's just because he has not been raised around children.

Physical Description
Enzo is a tuxedo and quite the handsome man. He's solidly built, with a bent tail. I adopted him from the Dane Co Human Society when he was 6 weeks old, and his tail was already bent. It does not cause him any pain.

Other Information
As much as I love him, Enzo needs another home. I will be retiring in a year and seriously downsizing in order to travel. I hope to find Enzo a wonderful person who will love him unconditionally.
