Dog | Male | Age: 3 | Springer spaniel | Spayed/Neutered | Up-to-date on vaccinations

High energy and happy but reactive and has bitten when startled.

Other Animals
Another, older dog. They get along well, Hamish does try to assert himself over the older dog and sometimes plays too rough. The two ate together until older dog stopped finishing her food and we had one negative interaction between the two over the unfinished food. Now they eat separately.

Medical History
He is up to date on vaccines and neutered. Listed with pica at vet, eating\swallowing socks was a problem when younger, hasn't happened recently. He had a sock removed surgically when a puppy.

Ideal Home
Hamish loves kids but due to his bite history no kids. Probably better without other dogs due to reactive behavior with other dogs at times. Some dogs he is great with but he did bite a dog while staying at a kennel.

Physical Description
Black and white springer spaniel

Other Information
He seems great but has bite history. Nothing requiring hospitalization, did puncture skin and scratches with teeth. Recently he bit my wife when she woke him up to get him out of our sons bed -this is our reason for rehoming. He also previously bit our son also during a feeding situation for our other dog when Hamish was in a corner tied up and accidentally bumped by a door he reacted aggressively.
