Most DCHS and Wildlife Center services are by appointment only. If you found a lost animal, need to surrender a pet, found wildlife in need of help, or require another service, please call before coming to the shelter. Adoption visits are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Very shy, does not like being picked up, can being timid about being touched until she trusts you, quiet, does not require a lot of attention, likes kitty treats, and finding hiding spaces.

Other Animals
Would do best in a home with no other animals

Medical History
Spayed. Not up to date on vaccines, but she is an indoor cat with no other animals and is healthy.

Ideal Home
A quiet home that is happy to share their home with a quiet solitary kitty. Heidi makes a good companion for seniors. Will hide if there is too much commotion/ kids around.

Physical Description
Black/dark grey and white. Has a little black patch on chin that looks like a beard!

Other Information
My grandparents are moving to a senior place and cannot take their kitty. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a quiet home for this kitty to be happy. Due to her shyness I fear she would not thrive in a shelter and this would be traumatizing for her and she would struggle getting adopted. Please help find this sweet girl a home.
