Most DCHS and Wildlife Center services are by appointment only, including reuniting lost animals, surrendering a pet, wildlife rehabilitation, and more. Adoption visits are first-come, first-served. We recommend checking our current waitlist prior to your visit.

Dog | Female | Age: 2 | Border Collie Mix | Spayed/Neutered | Up-to-date on vaccinations

Ivy is so loving, sweet, smart, energetic, cuddly and sociable.

Other Animals
Ivy doesn’t do well with cats. She likes to herd them. It’s hit or miss on some dogs. She does well with dogs in a neutral environment but can try to be dominant with living with other dogs. She would do best as the only pet in the house.

Medical History
Ivy is spayed and up to date on her vaccines.

Ideal Home
Ivy would do so well with an active family with a backyard or land. Someone who likes to take her for hikes, runs or walks. She loves playing fetch. Someone who is able to give her the appropriate attention/time she needs. She loves to be around people. She understands basic commands but can benefit greatly with some more help with her manners every now and again. Someone who is willing to help train her to be the best girl.

Physical Description
I’m rehoming my sweet Ivy because of some unexpected life changes. I want the best for her and unfortunately I’m not able to give that to her at this time. I’m really hoping to find a family or someone who is able to give her what she deserves and needs.
