Most DCHS and Wildlife Center services are by appointment only. If you found a lost animal, need to surrender a pet, found wildlife in need of help, or require another service, please call before coming to the shelter. Adoption visits are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Oreo and Jellybean 

Rodent | Female | Age: 2 | Rat

Oreo is very friendly and social; Jellybean is more skittish and easily frightened. They get along really well, and they’re litter trained!

Other Animals
Yes! One puppy; they did fine!

Medical History
We adopted from the humane society a few months ago, where they received a clean bill of health.

Ideal Home
They’re very low maintenance but could use more interaction than we’re able to provide (now that we have a puppy).

Physical Description
Oreo is grey; Jellybean is albino.
