Most DCHS and Wildlife Center services are by appointment only, including reuniting lost animals, surrendering a pet, wildlife rehabilitation, and more. Adoption visits are first-come, first-served. We recommend checking our current waitlist prior to your visit.

The Kids

Bird | Male | Age: 3 years | Lovebirds | Up-to-date on vaccinations

These guys are super sweet and love chatting with the outside birds. They have never tried to bite me, but they are not handtame.

Other Animals
They live with 2 dogs and a cat, but they don't mess with the cage at all. These kids do sometimes like to mess with our 1 small dog by baiting her to the cage and they fly away. It's quite entertaining.

Medical History
Since I received them from a rehoming situation, I have taken them to the vet. Which I was told they were healthy. I can also give vet records if needed. They are due for their yearly check up.

Ideal Home
I'm looking for a home that has time to work on hand taming them, and also just has the time to be with them. I don't want them stuck in their cage their whole lives.

Physical Description
They are peach faced lovebirds, I believe they are both boys as I've never seen an egg, and their past home never mentioned eggs. 1 bird is slightly larger than the other, but both are happy and healthy.

Other Information
With the rehoming, you will receive the 2 birds, their flight cage, a travel cage, all food/toys/bowls/etc. I prefer to respond via text, and I rarely see my email. So text or call please. I do work most weekdays as well but will try to respond asap.
