Most DCHS and Wildlife Center services are by appointment only. If you found a lost animal, need to surrender a pet, found wildlife in need of help, or require another service, please call before coming to the shelter. Adoption visits are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dog | Male | Age: 8 years | Boston Terrier | Spayed/Neutered | Up-to-date on vaccinations

Obedient, playful, silly, snuggly, stubborn, food-possessive, occasionally territorial, smart, faithful.

Other Animals
Yes -- cats and other dogs. Wiggs thinks he is alpha, but he likes to play and snuggle with any warm body.

Medical History
Neutered, all up to date on shots, healthy but has a sensitive stomach and needs to eat hydrolyzed dry food to keep regular.

Ideal Home
The ideal home for Wiggs is either someone or several folks who are home often so that he doesn't feel abandoned. He has some anxiety and separation issues. He's both energetic and lethargic; he loves walks and just snoozing away on the couch. He loves tug of war but isn't much of a fetcher. He's good for a several-hour hiking adventure and then will just crash.

Physical Description
Brindle coat, approx. 23 lbs, unusually tall and thin for a BT, very handsome pup.

Other Information
Wiggs needs a loving, stable home with solid routines and predictability.
