We're celebrating Adopt a Shelter Cat Month with reduced adoption fees for cats and kittens from June 17th-23rd. Learn more here.

By joining our Directors’ Council, you join other devoted and loyal supporters giving $1,000 a year or more to support the lifesaving work of DCHS.

These critical funds allow us to apply your gift immediately for daily shelter and community outreach operations, help us meet unplanned, unmet and unanticipated needs in our community, and spark innovative best practices to serve as a model for animal welfare organizations nationwide.

Members in the Directors’ Council have the opportunity to engage in unique experiences with DCHS throughout the year. This includes updates with our Directors and other shelter leaders, exclusive special events, animal experiences and more.

If you have any questions regarding the Directors’ Council, or would like to make your donation via stocks or other securities, please contact Paul Vornholt and Hilary Hemmes-Kavanaugh, (608) 838-0413 ext. 117 (Paul) or ext. 196 (Hilary).

Join the Directors’ Council by making a donation of $1,000 or more or as a monthly donor at $84/month or more.

We know life can get hectic. Want to make sure your Directors' Council gift renews every year? Make it an annual plan! We will automatically deduct the amount you specify once a year and send you an email confirmation when it renews. In January, we will send you a tax receipt for your charitable contribution.

You can quickly and easily manage your recurring plan, including updating your credit card, changing your payment method, changing your gift amount, skipping an installment, or pausing your plan, through our Donor Portal: https://donor.giveshelter.org
