    Volunteer

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with a wide variety of tasks including customer assistance, sorting and pricing donations, stocking shelves and setting up displays. We have a variety of shifts available every day of the week. We ask volunteers to make a weekly commitment to fill a 2-or 3-hour shift.

    Donate

Thrift Store West: To drop off your donations, please drive to the garage door on the west side of the store (6904 Watts Road). We can assist with unloading your donations at that door during business hours. There is also a no-contact donation bin near the front door for small items.

Thrift Store East: To drop off your donations, please drive behind the building where there is a door with a sign that reads "Donations."

Delivering these items directly to the Thrift Store helps us use them right away and reduces transportation and sorting costs for DCHS.

    Volunteer at DCHS Thrift Stores

    DCHS Thrift Stores Need You!

DCHS Thrift Stores are mostly run by volunteers. While we have many amazing people who show up for us, we’re in need of a few more, especially after opening our second store. Volunteers can work as donation sorters, getting the first look at the unique treasures coming in the door; or as pricers, striking the right balance between a great deal while still getting the most we can for animals in need. Volunteers can also work as cashiers, interacting with our wonderful customers and sometimes their four-legged friends. They perform important work supporting animals in need.
