• Over 3,068 new families were formed through our Adoption Program
  • Over 3,700 ill, injured or orphaned wild animals representing 155 different species received comfort and care at DCHS's Wildlife Center
  • 1,637 spay/neuter surgeries and 321 other surgeries were completed by our Animal Medical Services team
  • 1,219 volunteers worked an amazing 98,709 hours
  • 718 lost animals were reunited with their families through our Lost and Found program
  • 6,179 children and adults participated in Humane Education programs learning how to make our community a better place for both people and animals
  • 1,067 animals were transferred to DCHS from local and national shelters experiencing overcrowding
  • 235 adoptable animals were highlighted on local news and radio programs through our Pet of the Week segments
  • 567 animals were placed into foster homes where they could grow up, relax or heal until they found a new, loving home
  • 254 owned animals in our community received free vaccines, medical exams, microchips, ID tags and supplies through our Community Dog Day events
