LANE CLOSURE: The left turn lane from southbound Hwy 51 (Stoughton Road) to Voges Road is closed for construction April 20-23. You can follow the posted detour signs or plan ahead and take an alternative route.
DCHS's Wildlife Center takes in thousands of injured, sick, or orphaned wild animals every year with the goal of treating and releasing healthy animals back to their natural habitats. Volunteers help us with everything from direct animal care, cage construction and maintenance to working with the public. If working with wildlife interests you, please consider either of our Wildlife volunteer positions.
Recruitment of new Wildlife Assistants and Wildlife Receptionists for the upcoming spring and summer seasons is from January 1 through March 13, or until shifts are filled. If you do not apply within this recruitment period, you will need to wait until next year to volunteer in our Wildlife Center.
